Manual or automatic. Only the lessons you need.

Cross Roads teaches both, one-to-one, from 9am to 9pm every day. Pupils say their instructor is patient, fixes mistakes quickly and never adds lessons you don't need.

Which way at the crossroads?

Not sure whether to learn in a manual or an automatic? Five quick questions show which way you lean and what each licence covers, then write the message for your call or text.

  1. 1Will you ever need to drive a manual?

  2. 2What will you drive once you've passed?

  3. 3How do you feel about the clutch and gears?

  4. 4How soon do you want to be test-ready?

  5. 5Have you had lessons before?

Cross Roads teaches both. In its own words on Instagram: “For manual and automatic driving lessons call 07749 133311”.

Hi, I'd like to ask about driving lessons. Could you tell me about availability?

Really good experience learning with Zenul. He’s very calm, patient, and makes you feel comfortable straight away. He explains everything clearly and never puts you under pressure, which really helped me build my confidence on the road. He always gave useful tips and corrected mistakes in a simple way. I felt well prepared for my driving test and passed thanks to his support. Would definitely recommend him.

Should I learn in a manual or an automatic?

If you might want to drive a manual car later (a family car, a work van, a hire car abroad), learn in a manual: passing in a manual lets you drive both. If you only ever plan to drive automatics, or the clutch is what's holding you back, an automatic means less to learn at once, but your licence will cover automatic cars only. The chooser on the home page walks you through it, and you can ask on the phone.

Do you teach both manual and automatic?

Yes. Cross Roads' Instagram says it plainly: for manual and automatic driving lessons, call 07749 133311.

When are lessons available?

Google lists Cross Roads from 9am to 9pm, every day of the week. Say which times suit you when you call; one reviewer says their instructor was accommodating with lesson times.

I've had lessons elsewhere and not passed. Is it worth trying again?

Several reviewers came from other schools. One had spent years with different instructors without passing and writes that learning here completely changed everything. Others say no time or money was wasted on extra lessons. Tell your instructor what went wrong before, so lessons start there.

Do you do crash courses?

One reviewer took a crash course and calls it well organised. Call to ask what's available; how many lessons you need depends on where you're starting from.

Do people pass first time?

Many reviewers say they did: Google counts 19 reviews that mention passing first time, out of 251. Nobody can promise a pass, and nothing on this site is a pass rate.

How much are lessons?

Prices aren't listed online yet. One reviewer calls the lessons very reasonably priced for the quality of teaching. Call 07749 133311 for current prices.

How do I get in touch?

Call or text 07749 133311, send a message from this site, or message @crossroads_247 on Instagram.

Pick a way. Then pick up the phone.

Lessons 9am to 9pm, every day of the week. Call or text about manual or automatic lessons, or try the chooser first.
